In preparation for the installation of the Cannon cab and sub-base, we need to remove a .040 x .040 square section from the very top front of the Kato shell.
The removal of this section of plastic will make way for the cab locator block found under the rear lip of the Cannon cab.
Remember the old adage, measure twice, cut once.

Carefully remove the two Kato sub-base guides found in the locations shown in the scan below.
