Using sharp Xuron shears, carefully remove the inner most sections of the steps on all four corners leaving
approximately .020 - .025 plastic mounts for the new Cannon & Co. brass steps.
I suggest that you hold the pilot and rear of the step wells between your thumb and forefinger when you cut to remove each step.
Do not remove the back plate from any of the steps so as not to weaken the step wells.
Next, bend the Cannon steps according to the directions found on the packaging.
Now, using Cyanopoxy applied with .010 brass wire, install each step into it's correct location in the step well. Allow to dry completely.
