Using the lines shown as guides, carefully remove the low nose from one side of the shell.

Using the lines shown, carefully remove the low nose on the other side of the shell. Next, carefully remove the Kato cab guides from the rear of the cab area and sand smooth.

It has come to my attention that the two "fingers" shown in the scan below need to be removed since we will be using the Cannon sub base on this model.
Using the scan below, remove the two "fingers" marked with the "X" symbols at the point where they meet the shell. File smooth.
