NOTE: This is the second WE 106. The first WE 106 was wrecked/retired/scrapped in 2018.

The W&LE rebuilt WE 2662 with a low short hood in 2024/2025. It was
repainted and renumbered as WE 106 to fill the open number slot in the roster
that was created when the first 106 was retired in 2018 following a wreck.
